What is guayusa? Where does it come from?
Guayusa is a plant commonly consumed in South America, mainly in Ecuador. Guayusa trees grow in the Amazon rainforest. The guayusa leaves are infused to remove its caffeine and benefit from its very impressive benefits. It provides healthier energy and provides better focus. It is a non-dangerous plant that contains a large number of antioxidants.
What are the benefits of guayusa?
As found in green tea, guayusa leaf also contains L-theanine. It is an amino acid that has a highly relaxing effect, without causing drowsiness. This molecule, when ingested, helps reduce stress and excitement caused by caffeine consumption. It improves concentration and attention. What is the difference between OOYA and other traditional energy drinks?

How is guayusa different from yerba mate?
A powerful alternative to coffee, the leaves of these two plants are often used in tea. However, the taste is very different. Yerba mate is rather bitter, while guayusa is considered mild, earthy and slightly sweet.
Are you like kombucha?
OOYA is not at all like kombucha! Kombucha is a fermented drink made from tea, water, sugar, symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast. OOYA is a cold infusion of Guayusa leaves, quite simply!

What ingredients are in our drinks?
Finally a list of ingredients for which we can pronounce all the words! OOYA drinks are composed of simple and natural ingredients: organic guayusa infusion, organic lemon juice, organic cane sugar as well as a secret recipe of natural organic flavors.
What is the source of the caffeine in OOYA products?
No more heart racing and caffeine crashes. The caffeine contained in OOYA drinks comes from the infusion of the guayusa leaf. This 100% natural energy source allows you to obtain a more balanced and lasting result throughout the day!
How much caffeine is contained in an organic stimulating infusion?
250 mL OOYAs contain 90 mg of caffeine from natural sources.
Does OOYA contain taurine, artificial sweeteners or aspartame?
Oh no! We respect the human body too much to inflict that on it. All ingredients are natural, beneficial and gentle for our health.
Energy drinks are usually full of sugar. How much sugar is in a can of OOYA?
Simple question, simple answer: only 11g of sugar is contained in a 250mL can in the Original flavor and 15g in the Raspberry Watermelon flavor.
Where do the ingredients used in OOYA products come from?
Organic guayusa leaves come from the Amazon rainforest in Ecuador: heaven! The lemons come from Italy and the organic cane sugar comes from Mexico.
I am pregnant, is it safe to consume OOYA infusion?
Caffeine consumption is not recommended for pregnant women and during breastfeeding. Please follow your doctor's recommendations.
Is it possible to mix OOYA stimulating infusions with alcohol?
According to Health Canada, it is not recommended to mix alcohol and stimulating infusions. Just clickhereto learn more.
Is guayusa agriculture and production good for the health of the rainforest?
Guayusa is usually grown on small family farms and using environmentally friendly methods! There is no uprooting of plants, so no problem for the rainforest ecosystem. Thus, increased demand for guayusa leaves could contribute to the sustainability of the rainforest and the prosperity of agricultural communities.
Is your stimulating infusion pasteurized like it comes in a can?
Yes. Our cans are pasteurized to ensure product life without having to add artificial preservatives.
Why use aluminum cans? Can I recycle my can?
Of course you can recycle your cans! Aluminum is an indefinitely recyclable material, so why use anything else? In addition, aluminum is the most valued recyclable material in Canada. Friendly tip: to ensure better environmental practice, you can remove the plastic sleeve that is placed on the can before recycling it!
How do I get OOYA?

Are there fees for delivering online orders?
Delivery costs are free for all orders of $72.00 and more. If the box of 24 is on promotion, no discount coupon can be applied. For an order of $45.00 or less the delivery costs are $15.00. For an order between $26.00 and $71.00, the delivery costs are $10.00.
Is it possible to order large volumes?

What is the delivery delay?
Delivery times are 2 working days once the order has been processed. You will receive an email with this information when your order is placed. For the rest of Canada, delivery times are 5-10 business days once the order is processed. An order may take 24-48 hours to process.
Can I track my package?
Yes, a tracking number will be sent to you when your order is processed!
What is your refund policy?
If your order is damaged or doesn't suit you, don't panic, we'll take care of it! You can just take a photo
